About the role

We are looking for an engaging sales executive to help grow the Sabina's brand in the United States. You will report to the sales manager and take responsibility for locating prospective clients and bringing them into the Sabina's family.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new sales opportunities by approaching walk-ins, cold calling and networking
  • Prospect new accounts using state and local licensing databases, social media, and other online tools.
  • Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Visit dispensaries daily to drop off samples, understand customer pain points and desires, and make sales presentations.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry.
  • Relay feedback from customers to the rest of the team on a regular basis.
  • Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Confirm order details with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor the status of deliveries and stay in regular communication with clients, account management, and warehouse fulfillment staff to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Reach out to clients on an as-needed basis to inform them about new products, special delivery schedules, and other important updates.
  • Contacting prospective customers who have sent inquiries, and converting them to clients
  • Conducting live and virtual demonstrations for prospective clients and suggesting suitable options
  • Attending trade shows, expos, and community and networking events  
  • Working closely with the marketing and events teams to leverage existing opportunities
  • Ability to work in a rapidly growing arena 

Location & commitments

  • Remote
  • Flexible working hours based around client meetings
  • Travel may be required

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer facing role – preferably sales aligned
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Self-starter who can work with little supervision
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to track and achieve KPIs
  • Interest in the cannabis industry
  • Driver’s license and access to own transport beneficial
